1) Development of Intelligent UKJK (Ujian Kecergasaan Pendidikan Jasmani) Fitness Test Laboratory and Training System for Malaysian Schools

 

 

 

2) Blow Ball – Multi Games Breathing Exercise To Increase Lung Capacity and Maximum Oxygen Comsumption (Vo2 Max)

Introduction
Blow Ball” is a breathing game that requires a person to take bigger and deeper breath as well as to breathe out in different ways (blowing exercises). Apart from having fun, it physiologically helps to move and clear secretions from person’s lungs and increase ventilation. Everybody can play the blow ball game by performing many breathing techniques either by shallow, deep, fast or slow breaths and blow the ball to the target.

Experimental Procedures
The Asthma, Dyspnea, Emphysema, Chronic heart failure or Cystic fibrosis (CF) patients and normal subjects using the “blow ball” game for a period of time. Spirometry test will be conducted to measure the muscle strength – indices inspiratory and expiratory muscle among patients and normal subjects.  Measures will be taken on the functional residual capacity (FRC), residual volume (RV) and total lung capacity (TLC) during maximum static inspiratory using portable spirometer and Biopac Spirometer. The aerobic exercise physiology test will be used to measure individual maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max). The test will be conducted before and after the patients and subjects playing the blow ball game

 


3) Hajj and Umrah Pilgrimage Simulation Studio: Fitness, Energy and Nutritional Monitoring System

Introduction
Hajj is compulsory for all Muslim. It’s a physically challenging journey. Therefore, individual fitness is one of the important preparations in order to perform this ritual duty perfectly. Until today, there is no systematic fitness-training, testing and evaluation program for those who plan to perform Hajj. This simulation programme will also be a bonus for teachers teaching “Hajj and Umrah” in Pendidikan Islam. Teaching with Hajj and Umrah with simulation will attract students’ attention and secure a lasting understanding.
